Governing Body – Qwan Ki Do Association
The Governing Body of the Qwan Ki Do Association is the highest decision-making authority responsible for guiding the vision, mission, and activities of the organization. Comprising experienced martial artists, administrators, and representatives, the Governing Body ensures that our standards of training, ethics, and discipline are upheld across all affiliated centers.
Role of the Governing Body
- ✅ Formulate policies and strategic plans for the growth of Qwan Ki Do
- ✅ Maintain and update the official training syllabus and grading system
- ✅ Oversee certification, affiliation, and recognition of instructors & institutes
- ✅ Organize state, national, & international championships
- ✅ Promote the cultural heritage & values of Qwan Ki Do
- ✅ Ensure transparency, discipline, and integrity in all association activities
Structure of the Governing Body
President
Leads the association, represents it at official platforms, and ensures the mission is achieved.
Vice President
Supports the President and supervises regional development.
General Secretary
Coordinates administrative work and ensures smooth communication between members.
Joint Secretary
Assists in administrative and event management duties.
Technical Director / Head Instructor
Maintains technical quality and oversees instructor training.
Event & Tournament Coordinator
Plans and manages competitions, workshops, and seminars.
Public Relations Officer
Manages publicity, media presence, and community engagement.
Regional Representatives
Act as the link between local training centers and the central body.
The Governing Body works with one shared mission — to preserve the traditions of Qwan Ki Do while inspiring a new generation of martial artists through discipline, respect, and skill.
